Launching my new Story Book Collage Sheets for you to create your own Story Book Collages. If you have never made a collage before this is a great way to get started. Each packet contains images I have scanned from the original antique or vintage book. Print on your computer and follow the sample or create your own design with the elements included. The elements are from Kate Greenaway’s “Under The Window”, first American printing, first edition by George Routledge & Sons, New York. I keep the elements true to the current condition of the book adding to the vintage charm. The intended finished size is 4 x 6 inches, but you can make them smaller. This download will be available for 24 hours from time of posting and may be used for personal use. There after it will be available at my Etsy Shop and can be used to make collages for sale. Click here to download in zip format. The 24 hour download has ended. Watch for the next 24 hour free download.
Download some decorative birds in png format. I used some of the lace from yesterday and added it to a bird as a clipping mask. I added a few additional birds with different clipping masks. Click here to download all four in png format in a zip file to use in digital or physical collage. Have fun!
I was looking for some PhotoShop lace brushes and I could not find any I liked, so I made my own. I scanned a piece of vintage lace I had used on another project and created a 12 x 12 inch frame and used it in the image below. So many women in poverty during the early 20th century worked for pennies making lace by hand. (photo from “the Library of Congress”). The 12 x 12 inch beige lace frame looks great with old photos or photos with a sepia tone. Download the lace frame in transparent png format to use with your photos here.

I love playing around with different effects. I colorized this bird in blue with a lighter texture. Such a difference in the end result. These make great gift tags! Use the calendar for yourself or use it as a birthday tag and circle the date. Click on the link below to download, print and cut. Add any embellishments you want.
